Wow! This week was great! The whole mission is excited because this week Elder Nelson (an apostle of the Lord) is coming to speak to our mission! We are all way excited and are working extra hard to really be spiritually ready for the conference. So next week I will have some more news on that!

This weekend Hermana Rodas and I had did a great service activity.. we peeled potatoes... LOTS of potatoes!! It was surprisingly enjoyable and we greatly enjoyed the French fries the next day!

Also this week our branch mission leader started assigning ward members to accompany us. It is lots of fun to have a member as a companion they add a different perspective so that the investigator can really see the gospel in action in a "normal person" instead of just the missionaries. It is a great opportunity also for the members to share testimony with their friends and neighbors! I know that when we testify of Christ the Spirit testifies of our words. So, go out and testify of Him. Christmas time is coming, we must freely rejoice in our Lord and Savior!

This week I also learned a bit more about the Priesthood. The Priesthood is the power of God. With this power all things were created, including us. With this power Jesus Christ worked miracles, raised the dead, and established his Church. The Priesthood Power is essential for our salvation. The saving ordinances that we need (like baptism) can only take effect through the power of the Priesthood. I am so grateful for the direction of the Priesthood in my home. I have received much comfort and peace of mind by means of Priesthood blessings from worthy men of God. I am so grateful that God has allowed his children the opportunity to receive these blessings. I know that God lives and that He loves us.  He demonstrates His love for us in so many ways. Search for the little miracles and blessings every day.

Pray Always, Be Strong!

Con Amor,

Hermana Kimball
