This week we had a great lesson with one of our investigators in the chapel. It was awesome to have them come to the chapel and feel of the spirit there. Also, this week we visited Hermano Cesar, an older man who hasn’t come to church in years. We visited a couple of weeks ago for his 80th Birthday and again this week we stopped by to visit. And then on sunday.. he showed up to the chapel after nearly 20 years!! It was testimony meeting, so members of the congregation were able to freely go up to the front and share their personal beliefs. As one Hermana shared her testimony, Hermano Cesar slowly stood up. With his cane out front he ever so slowly made his way to the pulpit and he shared his testimony of the truthfulness of the Gospel of Jesus Christ. My companion and I were nearly in tears to see him, after so many years, share his testimony of Jesus Christ. It really was wonderful! There is a special joy that comes when we can help in some small way to bring one of the Lords lost sheep back into the flock. People stray away from the gospel for a variety of reasons, but our loving Father is always awaiting their return with arms outstretched to greet them. We must always ask the Lord to direct our paths; he will not lead us astray. We must be firmly planted in the gospel of Jesus Christ. He is our Rock and our Salvation.
Be firm. Be True. Have Faith
